What She Sang: “No One”
How She Looked: Thank goodness she took her hair down! Her new outfit is just as hot as the last, but her hair looks a million times better than the last time. Her earrings are huge, but it goes with the look, so all is good in that area.
Performance Value: She’s a showstopper. Hands down. The hardest job at any awards ceremony is to beat the performance of Alicia Keys. It is rarely, if ever done. The full orchestra and singers behind her added such a classic vibe to this song. It’s no wonder why Alicia has such a good career. Her voice in a live setting is simply beautiful. It’s seriously too bad that everyone can’t be as good as her.
John Mayer came into the mix adding a little electric guitar to take things to the next level. It was a stunning performance in every single way. I can’t say I’ve ever seen Alicia Keys live, but I imagine it’s a breathtaking performance.

Ashtyn is definitely the casual gamer in the family. A game fan since she owned an Atari, Ashtyn can remember when her brother rigged the television so he wouldn’t lose his Super Mario Bros. game. That is, until the power went out! A fan of all things Mario, Ashtyn is a Nintendo loyalist. She digs playing Mario-style RPG games, watching others play violent shooters (because she sucks at them), and playing casual PC games (like Wedding Dash and Cake Mania). As of now, she is into the Wii and Nintendo DS, though she’s certain the games for PS3 and Xbox 360 are more appealing.
