What He Sang: “Stronger” & “Momma”
How He Looked: He had a black outfit on with some glow in the dark, neon glasses and coat. Kanye is confident as a singer so he was in his groove and was hyped to be on stage. Hopefully he will be this decent if he doesn’t win any of those Grammys that he is up for, especially since he has a habit of being a whiny bitch when he loses.
Performance Value: The performance was okay. It was hard to compare it to the amazing performances that have been on the stage before him. My big problem with Kanye is that no one could ever love him more than he loves himself. The performance was decent, but better performers have been on stage tonight. The glow in the dark and neon gave a nice visual performance, but on song alone his performance would not have been memorable at all. It was fun to watch him though because you just can’t get over how much he loves himself.
When he went for a song where he actually had to sing things got a little scarier. He can’t sing. He sounds like a twelve year old with a floaty voice trying to find that key that he just can’t find. I understand the point of the song and can certainly respect that, but it wasn’t hot. On the nice side, I imagine it was hard to do this song considering the death of his mother is still relatively new and its obvious that it was difficult or maybe that little hand to head move was just a little playin’ it up for the audience. He should have left the ad lib about the Grammys out, too that was just cheese factor.
Stick to rapping Kanye, coz singer you ain’t!
Star Value (1 = Worst, 5= Best): 3* only this high due to visual factor - singing alone would have made it a 1.5.

Ashtyn is definitely the casual gamer in the family. A game fan since she owned an Atari, Ashtyn can remember when her brother rigged the television so he wouldn’t lose his Super Mario Bros. game. That is, until the power went out! A fan of all things Mario, Ashtyn is a Nintendo loyalist. She digs playing Mario-style RPG games, watching others play violent shooters (because she sucks at them), and playing casual PC games (like Wedding Dash and Cake Mania). As of now, she is into the Wii and Nintendo DS, though she’s certain the games for PS3 and Xbox 360 are more appealing.

He was singing to his mama… who cares if he was off key!! You’re worst than them playing the music on him while he was speaking to his dead mother!!
Since he sounded like shit..I care. He can sing to whoever he wants, but he should have practiced a little before hitting the stage.
Hey…he sang in a public forum. He opened himself up to criticism. Quite frankly…his voice sucks. He’s a whiny bitch anyway so who cares?
Can you fucking stop hating?
I can’t respect anyone who whines like a bitch after he loses to Justin Timberlake at the MTV Video Music Awards. C’mon! Kanye thinks he’s God’s gift to music…and really…he’s not.
If I wanted to be mean I could say his song is a false tribute considering he acts like he came from a poor home and saved his Momma from poverty. Kanye came from a decent home and didn’t save anybody. His song sucks and so did his performance.
