This was no surprise at all. Daniel Day Lewis is a fabulous actor who really takes each role to heart. He thanked the Academy and stared at the Oscar in awe. It’s inspiring to see an actor with such talent be so humble about their gift. He thanked his wife, his son, and accepted the award for his father, grandfather, and his three sons.
