Britney Ain’t the One that I Want

Broadway is the new place that hopeless, talentless crackheads go to die. It’s the new Las Vegas from the looks of things. Just about anyone can be considered for a spot on Broadway. If you think I’m kidding, think back a few months to when Tori Spelling and her husband Dean almost ended up in the hit Broadway show, ‘Chicago’.

Well now they have done it again. Rumor has it that they want to turn sweet, simple Sandra Dee into a blonde-haired Rizzo to be. That’s right, someone wants Britney Spears to play the part of Sandra Dee in Grease. Some say (while they are drunk) that Britney looks the part of Sandra. The only problem is she can’t act (if you were one of the three that saw Crossroads you’d know this) and she can’t sing (”Do Sumthin’” was not her finest moment).

I could almost ignore this with Broadway’s reputation, but apparently London is lowering their credentials, too. Rumor has it that a West End production of Tennessee Williams’ ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ could have Brit Brit in the lead role of Blanche DuBois.

While she does have the drunk slut thing down, I would hardly put her on level with Tennessee Williams. Seriously, I doubt the bitch can spell Tennessee ya’ll.
