Oh yeah totally. I mean how dare they stop endlessly remaking the same titles and keeping long dead franchises on life support ad nauseam, and blow me if trying to branch out a little isn't just damn condemnable.
Actually to be fair the new stuff is shit as well.

But, if you look on Kotaku, or other sites that had E3 coverage, Nintendo released a piece of concept art for the next Zelda, which isn't complete enough to officially announce or show off. They said all this in a private meeting with some press members.

I couldn't agree more. In fact, I would go a step further and actually rebrand Nintendo, which very rarely produces a product that quite falls into the strict definition of a video game as it is understood to the core gamer. Nintendo has been languishing in 3rd party hell since the 64. The difference between then and now being that, during that console's lifespan, the company was extremely creative and eager to please it's core audience. Wii software is analogous to the myriad flash and java games one can get from the likes of Armour Games online...for free and often of higher quality.

Simply put, Nintendo isn't in the video game market any more. They do not compete with Sony or Microsoft on basically any level as their core demographic is completely different. This equals big money for big N because their little games do appeal to a wide margin of people, as white washing a product is want to do, but for those of us who genuinely enjoyed their past franchises, it's a sad sad era.
