It’s E3 again and this year we’re live blogging. Once again we didn’t have the chance to go to the conference (though we were invited). We’re aiming for 2010, but you don’t care about that. You care about what Microsoft has to offer you.
So, let’s get right into it!
The New Harmonix Xbox 360 Release
I am thrilled to announce “The Beatles: Rock Band” for Xbox 360
Microsoft has announced the following 10 songs will be available for gameplay, and there will be plenty of downloadable content:
“I Saw Her Standing There”
“I Feel Fine”
“Day Tripper”
“Taxman”
“Octopus’s Garden”
“Here Comes The Sun”
“Get Back”
“I Am The Walrus”
“Back In The USSR”
“All You Need Is Love”
Some of these will be downloable exclusively on Xbox 360 and the proceeds from the purchase will go to Doctors Without Borders.
After its launch, full albums will become accessible for download. The first will be Abbey Road.
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr love the game. They enjoy the graphics and think the game is “good”. Of course, Ringo said they (The Beatles) are great!
Paul McCartney has this to say, “We never thought we’d end up as androids. Thank you very much for having us on your game show.”
This game will include up to three microphones for harmonizing, as was shown by the Harmonix band, who demoed “Day Tripper.”
There will be access to studio chat (real, never before heard chat from The Beatles, themselves).
Look for the release on September 9, 2009.
The price is $179 GBP/$199 Eur/$249.99 USD. This comes with the Hofner Bass controller, drum set (it has a Beatles Logo on the drum head), mic and stand.
You can also purchase a Lennon Rickenbacker 325 and Harrison Gretsch Duo as add ons.
Xbox Live has some New Games Coming Out
The first is “Shadow Complex” a Metroidvania-based game.
Coming in Summer 2009, this game is a 2D Action-Adventure developed by Chair. This game looks awesome with crazy mad boss battles, a huge map, a 10+ hour main campaign, hundreds of hidden objects, the ability to create platforms and staircases via foam gun, and a whole lot more.
Next up was “Joy Ride,” which is definitely going to make racing a whole lot more fun! If you have an Xbox Live Gold account “Joy Ride” is free.
You race as your avatar and this is racing gone wild. Make jumps, do tricks, trick out your car, purchase additional cars, which are available as downloaded content, and play in a variety of cartoon-y locations.
This will be available for download in Winter 09
New Franchise Titles for Xbox 360
Here is a list of the new franchise titles being released for Xbox 360. More information on these titles will be available soon right here on Gamerrazzi.

Alan Wake is coming to Xbox 360
In Alan Wake you need to find Alice. The beautiful trailer shows this and flashbacks of why you need to. This game looks awesome.
It will be available in Spring 2010.
Halo – Microsoft’s Premiere Franchise Has Something New
This wouldn’t be E3 without Halo and Microsoft. Last year was Halo Wars. This year we’re cranking up for the much cooler looking “Halo 3 ODST.”
You play the rookie, who is separated from your team. You find unexpected help along your journey. This game has incredible graphics. You have to piece together clues and solve the mystery, as you move through the game.
Bungie has announced “Halo Reach” will be released in 2010. When you purchase “Halo 3 ODST” you will receive access to the Multiplayer Beta version of “Halo Reach.”
Titles Moving to Xbox 360
As we knew last year, Final Fantasy XIII is coming to Xbox 360, but we now have an English trailer to enjoy. We also know that four active time gauges for more accurate moves. This game is being released in Spring 2010.
The HUGE announcement this year is that the Metal Gear Franchise is coming to Xbox 360!!!!
The latest title from Konami is “Metal Gear Solid Rising,” which will be available for Xbox 360. However, Solid Snake is not the star.
