Live Blogging E3: Ubisoft
With a missle you can blast all the lights within a certain area to give yourself the advantage. This game is amazing! “Tom Clancy’s Spinter Cell: Conviction.” will be released on Xbox 360 and PC.
Ubisoft is showing off why they are the new video game innovators. If its what we think it is Ubisoft is making gameplay easier with just the touch of your hand. Whatever this new thing is, it’s called Ruse.
Casual Gaming
Apparently that’s all we’re finding out about Ruse, Joel has moved on to Casual Gaming. Ubisoft is a leader in the industry. Here is what’s new for casual games in 2009.
Tony Key is here to talk about the Ubisoft franchise that has sold more games than any other. Imagine is that brand. This has shown that tweens are some of the biggest audiences in Ubisoft gaming. Imagine is the biggest brand on the DS, by a 3rd party developer.
Ubisoft’s Tween Games 2.0 is the next step in Tween gaming. Imagine Town Magazine, an Imagine Town’s online destination and “Imagine Artist”. In “Imagine Artist” for Nintendo DS, create art then share it on the Imagine Town website. Share it with everyone.
Petz offers interconnectivity. “Pets Nursery” lets you transfer your baby pets to other Petz games. Raise these pets as babies. Then you can send them to the new Petz titles to become pets superstars.
“Style Lab” allows tweens to invent and reinvent their own style. Take pics of yourself and be a part of the game then try out makeup and hair styles on the DS. Try Design jewelry then upload and purchase your creationsonline.
Fitness Gaming
Fitness is the largest growing gaming genre. Felicia Williams is going to discuss how cameras will be used to improve Ubisoft fitness games. The camera will scan your body, show your moves in the game, get your own fitness coach, give you real time feedback on the execution of your moves, encourage you and be your own personal trainer in a way a DVD can’t.
This title is called “Your Shape.” It individualized a plan based on your body. The plan is individualized on your body. You can use your home equipment and you should be able to use this without a controller. Every minute invested helps you miss your fitness goals.
The first camera-enabled fitness game, “Your Shape” is coming to the Wii during the winter holiday of 2009. You pick what you want to tone and how much time you have to work out. Your workout is projected write on your screen. It tells you how many calories you’ve burned and much more.
Rabbids Go Home
Adrian Fernandez-Lacey is here to talk about Rabbids great new adventure. They have decided it is time to go home. They’ve decided their home is the moon. They are taking the human’s stuff, and they are heading to the moon. They’ll be using a shopping cart to help them take all the stuff they want.
“The Rabbids need stuff. Tons of Stuff. Anything. And Everything”
There is a live demo of “Rabbids Go Home.” This is for Nintendo Wii. You move and he reacts to your movement. This is one hilarious game! These Rabbids love getting smashed around the screen. Your objective though is to get stuff. You can blow up your Rabbids eyes, make his ears smaller and he loves wearing custom clothes.
You want to take up ultimate objects of ‘mass consumption in some of the levels. You travel around in a shopping cart, everywhere. The humans will try to attack you with your dogs. They are still useful for building your ultimate piles to the moon. You can explode your enemies leaving them in their undies or run over them and capture them.
There are skate parks where you can run free and enjoy the play with your shopping cart. You can also pimp out your shopping cart by adding flying objects or other cool things. You can strap an airplane engine on your cart.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is celebrating its 25th anniversary with Ubisoft. “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Smashup” is being developed by those who created “Super Smash Bros.”
This is amped up turtles in the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Smashup” game trailer. It will be available (Fall) September 22, 2009.
New Titles Coming Out
“No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle” has been announced as a new Ubisoft title.
The big one is Assassins Creed II. It’s going to be out November 17, 2009. The trailer is available now on E3. It is the time of the Renaissance. You are in Venice, Italy in 1492. The graphics surpass the quality of the original. They are brilliant. There are no guns, only wicked and delightful sword play!
