There’s a new Scooby-Doo video game that’s going to be released by Warner Bros. Interactive. Here’s the information that has been sent about the video game:
Scooby-Doo! First Frights lets players take on the role of young Scooby-Doo and teenage versions of the newly formed Mystery, Inc. crew to solve their very first cases.
Since 2001, Scooby-Doo videogames have sold more than 3.5 million copies in North America alone. Scooby-Doo! First Frights brings fans more of what they love with exciting environments, innovative gameplay and graphics that take full advantage of each console. Co-op play is made easy by allowing players to jump in or out of the game at any time.
Players put their sleuthing skills to the test solving puzzles, combating enemies and collecting clues before unmasking each mysterious villain. After solving each mystery, players can use unlockable character costumes for Scooby-Doo, Fred, Velma, and the rest of the gang to access new areas in every level.
Scooby-Doo! First Frights meddles its way onto the Wii, Nintendo DS and the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system September 2009.
We’re a huge Scooby Doo family, but I’m not sure whether I’ll like the new teen sleuths in this title. The characters kind of remind me of a cross between the original Mystery crew, and the crew from A Pup Named Scooby Doo. The only way to find out how fun or worthwhile this game is going to be will be determined once its played.
