The latest title in the Halo franchise, Halo Reach, is set for release on September 14, 2010. To celebrate, GameStop is hosting an online festival for fans of the franchise, dubbed “HaloFest”. The festival URL is located at http://www.gamestop.com/gs/landing/halofest/. The site is set to offer sweepstakes, game tips, videos and a plethora of other items of interest to those interested in purchasing Halo Reach.

Currently, the site offers a link to pre-order the game through Gamestop. Those who pre-order can return to the HaloFest website and enter their Pre-Order code in order to win a life-size Halo:Reach statue. Fans can also utilize the website to watch the latest Red vs. Blue videos. The Red vs. Blue series returns with an exclusive three-part mini series set to celebrate the game’s release.

The festival page isn’t complete. There will be sections with Halo Reach Tips and Tricks, In Game Contests, Halo Tournament news and more, so make sure to return to the site regularly, to see what new content is being offered.

We will be receiving a copy of Halo Reach, courtesy of GameStop, for review. Stay tuned for more information on the game through Gamerrazzi. In the meantime, check out HaloFest and what this online virtual festival has to offer.
