Assassins Creed Brotherhood fans rejoice as additional, add-on DLC is released. Ubisoft has announced that come early March 2011, gamers will have the chance to download, The Da Vinci Disappearance. The game will cost 800 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360 gamers and $9.99 for those playing on the PS3, through the PlaystationNetwork.

The Da Vinci Disappearance features both single and multiplayer content. The content involves the disappearance of Ezio ally, Leonardo Da Vinci. This occurs after the fall of the Borgias in Rome. Da Vinci is taken by the Harmaticists, who are an underground cult seeking to transform mankind. As Ezio, players will go on a quest to find Da Vinci and recover stolen paintings in the process. Gamers will unlock two new game locations and will have the potential to unlock new gameplay features, as they play.

You can check out the trailer, just released by Ubisoft last week, for The Da Vinci Disappearance:

The multiplayer options for this game is the biggest expansion to the ACB multiplayer gamers can already play. It includes a new map, two new gaming modes, and four new characters. The new map features the stunning backdrop of Spain’s Albaicin of Granada, and is known as Alhambra. The new characters include Dama Rossa, the Knight, the Marquis and the Pariah. Finally, the two new gameplay modes are known as Escort and Assassinate. Escort consists of two teams of four players, who compete with the other team to protect their VIP targets from assassination, while attempting to assassinate the other team’s VIP. Assassinate is a six to eight players mode that play ten-minute death-match style assassinations.
