E3 Press Conference: Electronic Arts
Mass Effect 3 - EA started off things with a bang, revealing a glimpse into one of their hottest franchises, Mass Effect. The game looks awesome, and we finally have a release date of: 03/06/2012. The picture below does not do the game justice (stupid motion captures blur!)
Need for Speed: The Run – The video showed a new Need for Speed that will change the way you see the game. The images were great, but you actually get to leave your car. This is a lot more plot-driven and looks like a GTA-hack, quick-time event that could be lame if the action is not that intense.
Star Wars: The Old Republic - More development on this title, which was announced last year at E3, shows how massively improved the animation looks. I was excited about this already, but I want to play it already!!
SSX – A new snowboard game has been announced. It will be released January 2011. How boring can this Press Conference get?
FIFA 12 - The world’s sports game. Touts the most advanced gameplay engine. Tactical defender system has been improved as has precision dribbling. The Player Impact Engine improves the individual player action and even allows players to suffer injuries.
EA is also instituting the EA Sports Football Club, where fans can connect and compete. It will not cost anything.
Madden 12 - You knew it was coming! EA showed off the Ray Lewis, Peyton Hillis, and Clay Matthews were there to help usher in the ultimate game of the best football game franchise. There is a brand new defense system modeled off of Lewis. This is great because the weakest part of Madden 11 was the defense.
The game will be released August 30, 2011. The game will have new online features and cross platforms while playing.
The Sims: Social - This game hooks up The Sims and Facebook in a crazy way. It looks pretty cool and is bound to make FBers addicted.

Reckoning - Tom MacFarlane is a part of this project, which looks to be a new action/adventure, fantasy, magic game.
Overstrike - Insomniac is developing this game, which has a team of four, a mercenary, a detective, a thief and a scientist who are overstrike agents in the near future. This looks like a kick ass shooter, and has actually made this otherwise boring presentation pretty exciting!!

More information is available at OverstrikeGame.com
Battlefield 3 - This looks to be the most exciting Battlefield experience to date. EA showed a video and then there is the live demo going to happen. This is some of the most realistic animation we’ve seen from EA. The gameplay engine allows wicked, sick game action to come alive. The game offers single and multiplayer modes.

Gamers will be able to connect in a special social network, which will be free. Also, there will be a multiplatform BETA in September.

The Demo is going through an all out tank assault in the desert. These images are downright amazing. Gaming has come so far. The experience looks so realistic! The game can be dowloaded with no subscription fee.
It will be released on October 25, 2011.
