So, this time for Saturday and Sunday I am limiting myself to just ten things to talk about. Now if I was going, I am sure I would have a much longer list. I should mention though that I cut out a few things that I would have loved to see if there were scheduling difficulties with other panels or screenings. This list should do for now, though if you want to check out the entire schedule you can view Saturday’s or Sunday’s events list at the Comic Con site.

Saturday

Co-creator/executive producer Damon Lindelof and executive producer Carlton Cuse will discuss season 4 of Lost, leading up to the season finale. They will answer your questions and maybe even offer up some surprises of their own. Hall H

1:15-2:00 Warner Bros.: Terminator Salvation— Check out the newest installment of The Terminator film franchise. Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. – Hall H

5:30-7:00 Sony: Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, Quarantine, Pineapple Express—

Underworld : Rise of the Lycans
The third film in the popular Underworld franchise delves into the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires, known as Death Dealers, and the barbaric Lycans (werewolves). A young Lycan, Lucian (Michael Sheen), emerges as a powerful leader who rallies the werewolves to rise up against Viktor (Bill Nighy), the cruel vampire king who has persecuted them for hundreds of years. Lucian is joined by his secret lover, the beautiful vampire Sonja (Rhona Mitra), in his battle to free the Lycans from their brutal enslavement. On stage to take your questions will be Rhona Mitra, Bill Nighy, Michael Sheen and director Patrick Tatopoulos. Underworld: Rise of the Lycans is in theaters everywhere January 23, 2009.

Quarantine
Television reporter Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter) and her cameraman (Steve Harris) are assigned to spend the night shift with a Los Angeles fire station. After a routine 911 call takes them to a small apartment building, they find police officers already on the scene in response to blood-curdling screams and soon learn that a woman living there has been infected by something unknown. After a few of the residents are viciously attacked, they try to escape only to find that the CDC has quarantined the building. Phones, Internet, television and cell phone access have been cut off, and officials are not relaying information to those locked inside. When the quarantine is finally lifted, the only evidence of what took place is the news crew’s videotape. Quarantine opens in theaters everywhere October 17.

Ashtyn is definitely the casual gamer in the family. A game fan since she owned an Atari, Ashtyn can remember when her brother rigged the television so he wouldn't lose his Super Mario Bros. game. That is, until the power went out! A fan of all things Mario, Ashtyn is a Nintendo loyalist. She digs playing Mario-style RPG games, watching others play violent shooters (because she sucks at them), and playing casual PC games (like Wedding Dash and Cake Mania). As of now, she is into the Wii and Nintendo DS, though she's certain the games for PS3 and Xbox 360 are more appealing.

There are so many events going on at Comic Con that it will be impossible for one person to see everything they want to see. This is the biggest, craziest event when it comes to the newest and hottest in movies and television. From screenings and previews to panels and classes, Comic Con looks to have it all. The event will be running from Wednesday (Preview night) July 23 – Sunday July 27. Rather than try to cram the best of the best of the updated schedule I will just let you know what’s going to be hot based on days.

For Thursday these are some of the events that you (or at least I) won’t want to miss.

10:00-11:30 Comic-Con Film School 101: Preproduction and Screenwriting—If you want to learn to make a movie on a shoestring budget, this is an awesome place to start. These classes teach you how to take a movie through the entire process from preproduction and screenwriting to DVD creation with an extremely limited budget. – Room 26AB

10:45-11:45 Reinventing the Page: Stan Lee and Grant Morrison Talk Virgin Comics—The hottest legend in comic books talks about his new venture and the new world fans can expect as Lee transitions to Virgin Comics. Morrison also talks about his new, upcoming animated series. – Ballroom 20

11:00-12:00 LGBT Portrayals in Comics—A discussion about the progress that has been made (or not) concerning the use of LGBT characters in comic books. – Room 10

11:30-12:30 Hasbro: GI Joe—Information on the upcoming toy/product line due to the upcoming movie. Also includes a Q&A and special guests you won’t want to miss. – Room 7AB

11:30-1:00 20th Century Fox: The Day The Earth Stood Still and Max Payne—An exclusive look at The Day the Earth Stood Still, with stars Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly on hand. Also, a discussion about the evolution of Max Payne from video game to movie will occur. Mark Wahlberg (who plays Max Payne), Ludacris, John Moore, and Mila Kunis will be on hand for the discussion. – Hall H

12:00-1:00 The New Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s: English-Language World Premiere—The premiere of the newest Yu-Gi-Oh series, information on upcoming toys, and a few surprises for those in attendance. – Room 5AB

1:15-2:45 Summit Pictures—Exclusive footage of upcoming films such as Push (starring Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning), Knowing (Nicolas Cage), and Twilight (Kristen Stewart). – Hall H

1:45-2:45 Marvel: X-Men— A panel dealing with Manifest Destiny, the new direction that X-Men is heading in. Hear from some of the top writers in the franchise about the bold ways this series will go. – Room 6B

2:00-3:00 Red Sonja: One-on-One—Join Robert Rodriguez, Rose McGowan, Doug Aarniokoski, and David White for a Q&A and an interview on the upcoming Red Sonja project. – Room 6CDEF

4:15-5:15 Lionsgate/Marvel: Hulk vs. Wolverine—Meet Craig Kyle, Frank Paur, Christopher Yost, and others involved in this Marvel Animation milestone and watch the complete Hulk vs. Wolverine months before its January 2009 Blu-ray and DVD release! – Hall H

4:30-5:30 HBO’s True Blood— Based on the popular Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris, True Blood is created by Alan Ball, creator of HBO’s Emmy-winning series Six Feet Under. The series takes place in the not-too-distant future, when, thanks to the invention of synthetic blood, vampires no longer need humans for their fix and can walk freely, if not yet comfortably, among their living counterparts. With their integration into a small Louisiana town causing a stir, a love story ensues between Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer). True Blood debuts September 7 exclusively on HBO. – Room 6CDEF

5:45-6:45 Showtime: Dexter— Showtime presents exclusives from the set of the highly anticipated third season of Dexter. Witness an interview and Q&A session with the top stars and executive producers of Dexter, featuring Michael C. Hall, Julie Benz, Clyde Phillips, and John Goldwyn, plus a special guest! – Room 6CDEF

8:00-8:30 Lionsgate and Marvel: Punisher: War Zone!— Stars Ray Stevenson and Julie Benz take you into the world of the Punisher for an exclusive first look. – Room 6B

8:30-9:00 Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures: Saw 5— Join director David Hackl along with the filmmakers and cast for an exclusive first look at the latest terrifying installment in the Saw series! – Room 6B

9:00-10:00 Repo! The Genetic Opera First Look— Check out the phenomenon that is this Goth Rock musical with sneak peeks and the new trailer plus stories from Darren and the actors themselves, including Alexa Vega (Spy Kids), Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects), and Ogre (the band Skinny Puppy), among others. – Room 6B

10:00-12:00 Warner Premiere and Warner Home Video: World Premiere of Lost Boys The Tribe—More than 20 years in the making, Lost Boys The Tribe is an homage to the original 1987 cult hit and stars Corey Feldman as vampire hunter Edgar Frog, along with Tad Hilgenbrinck, Angus Sutherland, and Autumn Reeser, with appearances by Jamison Newlander and Corey Haim. Meet the cast and filmmakers as director P J Pesce and original Lost Boys star Corey Feldman are joined by Tad Hilgenbrinck, Angus Sutherland, and Autumn Reeser to answer questions and talk about the making of this new horror classic. – Ballroom 20

Okay, so I gave you pictures of the best and worst of the awards, but then I found pictures feature things happening that are just downright weird. For your entertainment, I give you the weirdness (or is it weirdest?) of the MTV Movie Awards:

Dana Carvey is pregnant?!
Seriously, look at that baby bump! It’s bigger than the one on Nicole Kidman! I don’t mean to brag, but I think I’m going to be the first to report on the “expecting” Daddy! Good luck with the delivery Dana. We hear birth can be rather painful!

Ode to the $2 Hooker with the Leather Whip
I know these are the costumes the Pussycat Dolls wore to perform at the MTV Movie Awards, but who the heck picked out these outfits? They look like their going to a backwoods leather bar to meet their Biker Momma.

Jack Black Becomes a Super Hero
Who knew that all it took was a little bit of marker to turn Jack Black into Ironman? Seriously, with just a few more touch ups he will look like Robert Downey Jr.’s twin!

Downey Jr. responsible for Shenanigan
I knew that Jack Black’s transformation into a super hero was too good to be true. It was just Robert Downey Jr. leaving a drawn signature on Black’s tummy. Look! He even signed his nipple! I don’t know if that’s funny or downright disturbing. Maybe a little of both. Hope that’s not permanent marker!

Random Homeless Beggar?
I don’t know who Jonah Hill is, but dang is he looking like a homeless beggar. If he’s a B-lister why not try and look more presentable? If you want to be memorable, don’t come in your best bag walker outfit. Get some class!

Mr. Rogers and His Tranny
Wow. I can barely comment on this. As Tom morphs into the Scientologist version of Mr. Rogers, Katie is becoming more mannish. Look at that mop top and the way she hulks over Tom. We all knew Tom loved the c-ck, but couldn’t he just have found a guy instead of morphing Katie Holmes into one?

She makes Me Look Hotter
Lindsay Lohan has the superior smirk of a girl who happens to be standing next to Bruce Willis in a dress. Rumor is pretty damn ugly and Lindsay knows it. Unfortunately for LoHo, the only way she gets deemed “hottest in the bunch” is to stand next to an ugly person. In the meantime, Rumor has her own little private smirk. You know, like the “I just put herpes on your dildo” or “I sucked SamRo’s monstrous clit first” look of satisfaction. I guess that just proves that it doesn’t take a hot person to pass on the STDs.

The Flowers and the Pillowcase
Yeah…Rain Wilson wore flowers and a teddy bear, but Megan Fox wore just a pillowcase. They make an unlikely pair, but just one slip (or tear) on stage would have given the audience a flash show they might (or might not -depending on the flashee) have desired. Let’s just hope neither dropped anything, like the soap!

I have a Big Spaceship
I figured it was only a matter of time before Tom converted Chris Brown and the rest of young Hollywood into Scientologists. As the space ranger, Brown is here to be the guide that welcomes the Mothership. What a cool job!

J-Lo Called; She Wants her Ghetto Booty Back!
Vanessa is looking a little, round in the rear. She’d do Sir Mixalot proud. Still, what’s that in the front? Disney might be shocked if we alluded to a baby bump, or maybe just shocked at the prospect of Zac Efron spawn on the Earth!

Am I the only person that had no clue this was going to be on last night? Not that it particularly matters because I probably would have continued watching Ninja Warrior and left this post the way it is going to be. I have a sick fascination with that show, but that’s for another post. This is all about those who turned up last night for the awards. Here are some of the highlights.

One out of four, is better than none
Well we all know that Rumer is fugly, I can’t get over the Demi hair with the Bruce body, and it’s just too creepy for me. The girl next to her is having some fashion issues with that print dress and then there is Katherine McPhee. Is it just me or does she have this, “I am totally a star” look on her face? Anyway, at least Anna looks cute, for the most part.

MTV’s Best Dressed
Admit it. You know Rob Schneider was the best dressed of the evening. With an outfit like that he was definitely dressed for success. He wasn’t even messing around with those knock-off dresses like Paris Hilton was, though that’s for another story.

Although…
Schneider might be one of the best dressed of the night, inquiring minds want to know…Does Britney realize that someone has stolen her weave?

I love you But…
I am huge Charlize supporter and feel that she is definitely one of the biggest talents in younger Hollywood. However, what is this outfit all about? I know that MTV is semi-casual, but while the shoes are hot, they don’t match the leggings, the bag is just nasty, and the corset top gives her a baby bump. Then again, maybe it’s a baby bump giving her that on its own, but still, the top isn’t working for me.

Fleeting Thoughts
So, I am Jennifer Hudson and I’m getting ready for the movie awards. I’m thinking to myself, how can I accentuate my outfit with a splash of color and make myself look like a $2 hooker? Oh, I know! I will wear my bra sticking four inches out of my dress. Here’s a lesson dimwit. Pink lace and red belts don’t go together very well.

Johnny Depp?!
I swear I saw this picture and didn’t know who he was. Between him playing Jack Sparrow and Sweeney Todd (which he both won for last night) I think I forgot what regular old Johnny Depp looks like. In seeing this, I have to say, it’s not a bad sight. Although, I’m sure my nephew would rather see him in pirate gear than like this, but hey, he’s three.

When it Doubt…
When you’re running late and you don’t have a dress for the MTV awards, what do you do? Pull a Liv Tyler and just pull down your curtains and fold them over artistically. No one will ever know. If you can get past the dress, Liv is her normal, lovely self.

I wonder…
While Lindsay was snapped all over the place at the awards, she apparently left her lesbian lover at home. Now, we all know how much she likes men, so it’s clear that she doesn’t bat for just one team. That has become even clearer as she stands there with Verne Troyer. You can just tell by the look on her face that she’s wondering if he would fit. Like all of him. His whole body. Meanwhile, he’s just like…you wish bitch.

Ruffle Attack ‘08
Lucy Walsh was probably my favorite girl on Rock the Cradle. It was sad to see her go and even worse to know that no talent hack Latanzzi got to stay because her goth-porn, emorexic fan base voted when they should have been out at therapy or looking for jobs. Anyway, I don’t even know if I can comment on this dress. It is beyond my scope of creativity. I love Lucy, but this dress scares me.

Pink Prom Dreams
Megan Fox was seen last night wearing a couple of dresses. Naturally, some were better than others. This was the dress she arrived in. It reminds me of an easy girl’s version of a prom dress. Not to say she is easy, I wouldn’t know that for sure. And by the way, I love Marilyn Monroe, but that seriously has to be the worst place for a tattoo on a chick. Ever.

I love the shoes that Nicole is wearing. I really do. I get the whole fat thing, too. She’s like one of the few people that didn’t lose a considerable amount of weight when she was on Dancing with the Stars. However, what I don’t get is why fat people need to dress in the loudest prints on the planet. I don’t mind the top half of this dress. In fact, I think it makes her look flattering. The bottom half looks like she found a nice, silk tablecloth to wrap herself in. Considering the style I am going to assume this would be from the Sandra Lee collection. After all, she does love her cocktails.

Oooh That’s Hot!
Other pictures have Joel’s little brother caressing Paris’ thigh. Let’s hope he doesn’t get an infection. Anyway, this is not about their nefarious sexual habits. Instead, it’s about the dress that Paris is wearing. Who knew Steve and Barry’s was having a sale? Better yet, who knew this dress would be the hottest in Hollywood? Apparently no one sent a blackberry to tell Paris that Janelle Perry wore this same exact dress to Palms Place Hotel Opening a day earlier. I may not know who Perry is, but it’s obvious she’s got one up on Hilton. That’s hot!

Rainn Wilson’s Roses
I always say, if you’re going to the movie awards you should always come prepared. Other pictures have him covering himself with a teddy bear. He’s after someone’s heart for sure. What’s next? Candy coveralls? Just be careful, those might melt!

Scientology Diet
Is it just me or do you agree that if this top became a button down, Tom Cruise would morph into Mr. Rogers? It’s creepy how he looks normal, but he’s actually the Scientology Monster of Doom. Needless to say, this pseudo-children’s show outfit makes him look relatively harmless while he’s waiting for the mothership to arrive.

Pimpin with the Cruise Control
I had to throw this in for all the wheelers out there! Verne is sporting a hot little ride here to move him into the awards. Sure, it looks like he’s wearing the exact same shirt from last night at the Palms Place, but who cares! He’s cool.

Wicked Witch of the City
I like Sarah Jessica Parker. I really do. However, the question has to be asked…Who taught this bitch how to dress? Those boots don’t match that dress. Her hair reminds me of a witch. You know, one of those ones you see trying to eat little children. I don’t know. I hate the boots most of all. I might be able to live with the dress, but the boots should be buried so that she never makes the mistake of wearing them again.

WAR, INC. is a political satire set in Turaqistan, a country occupied by an American private corporation run by a former US Vice-President (Dan Aykroyd). In an effort to monopolize the opportunities the war-torn nation offers, the corporation’s CEO hires a troubled hit man, played by John Cusack, to kill a Middle East oil minister.

Brad Pitt seems to be either loved or hated. While his personal life is almost always the talk of the town (though he has been trying to keep a low profile lately), who he is living with is not as important as all that he has accomplished in a career that has spanned close to three decades. Women love Brad because he’s attractive and he can act. Men enjoy the roles he plays and his sense of humor. In looking at such an amazing career that dates back to the late 1980s, it is obvious what a great actor he is by his résumé of work.

With that in mind, this article is going to examine some of those movie roles. While these may be the top five Brad Pitt movies in one fan’s opinion, there are plenty of other great movies to add to the list. From Troy to Ocean’s Eleven, Brad has done comedy, drama, period pieces, action oriented roles, and thrillers. In them, he’s played so many different and diverse characters it is hard to fit his ideal role into any type of box. It seems as if Brad Pitt can do a little of everything and this top five list is going to prove it. So, let’s get right to it with the first movie on the list.

Number Five – Sleepers

Sleepers gave Brad the chance to really show his audience how dramatic he could be. The effectiveness of the movie depended on how believable the characters were. Pitt was a shining star on camera as the older Michael Sullivan. He played the part with the likes of Robert DeNiro, Billy Crudup, Jason Patric, and Kevin Bacon.

Brad Pitt played Michael, a lawyer in Sleepers who is convinced to help his childhood friends beat a murder rap. The boys had all gone to a juvenile detention center after a childhood prank gone wrong killed a businessman who was out in the city spending the day with his family. As the youngest member of the group, Pitt got out early. Nonetheless, all of the boys put up with a hellacious experience that involved physical and sexual abuse by one of the guards at the detention center. All these years later, the guard ends up dead and two of the boys who are now men, John (Ron Eldard) and Tommy (Billy Crudup) are charged with the murder.

Pitt had the opportunity to dig a little deeper and play off his emotions in this film as opposed to some of the more superficial characters he has had to play. In this movie, you get a sense of who Michael is, where he’s been, what he’s gone through, and how it has affected his life as an adult. This may not have been my favorite Brad Pitt movie, but it was certainly high enough to make this list.

Number Four – Se7en

I absolutely love thrillers, especially those with twisted plots. Se7en is one of those movies. When you watch it, your heart pounds and you mind races along with the plot trying to keep up and figure out what is going to happen before it does. I watched the movie when it first came out and the ending was a shocking surprise. I wasn’t expecting what happened to happen. With such great actors portraying the characters, it was bound to be a decent film, but the plot and the storyline go beyond any other thriller movie I’ve seen.

In the movie, Brad plays a police officer, Detective David Mills, who is relatively new to this specific station. He teams up with the soon-to-retire veteran Detective Lt. William Somerset (Morgan Freeman) to help catch a serial killer known simply as John Doe. Doe is executing his killings in reference to the “seven deadly sins” hence the name of the film, Se7en. It is up to the detectives to find the killer before he can strike again. In an interesting subplot, Pitt’s character is married to Tracy (Gwyneth Paltrow) who finds out she is pregnant. She must deal with having the child of a police officer, a decision that might mean she will not have the child, at all. Through a series of plot twists that are perfectly executed, the Detectives and John Doe eventually come face to face. The question is, at what price?

Brad Pitt was emotional, risky and pigheaded like young, hotshot detectives often are, and he played the role he needed to play for you to not only sympathize with him when necessary, but also to dislike him and his actions in other parts. The flipping emotions of the audience is a sure sign that Pitt has done his job. Also, the supporting cast is brilliant with Morgan Freeman acting as the perfect mentor Pitt can learn from and John Doe being portrayed by an actor that made him absolutely chilling. If you’re looking for a great thriller movie, Se7en is the film you need to check out. Chances are you won’t be disappointed.

Number Three – Twelve Monkeys

Have I mentioned how much I love Twelve Monkeys? This is perhaps my favorite Brad Pitt role he has ever done. However, the overall movie isn’t as good as my choices for number one and two. Don’t get me wrong. I love this movie. So much so in fact that I’ve probably seen it 100 or more times. It’s catchy and entertaining. What else can you expect from a Terry Gilliam film?

Brad Pitt truly makes this movie his own as the psycho, environment-loving, crazy man, Jeffrey Goines. Jeffrey is special. Brad, as Jeffrey, has tics and reminds me a lot of the bi-polar people I know. He’s high and then low with nothing really in between. He talks a million miles per second. His conversations are about the most innate things, and then he does something that shouldn’t be funny…but it makes you laugh anyway. That’s what is so great about this movie. It’s really not supposed to be a comedy, but the elements of humor from Pitt truly set the scene for the film.

The story begins in a post-apocalyptic type of setting. Cole (Bruce Willis), a convict of the underground, has the chance to redeem himself for his actions, first by collecting samples from the icy, dead world up above and then going on missions. He is able to go back into the past to try and trace the virus to a group that the future underground scientists believe is responsible for letting the virus loose, the Army of the Twelve Monkeys. During his numerous time travelling adventures, Cole is sent to the wrong time period on more than one occasion.

In the first expedition, he is sent to 1990, six years before the virus is going to hit, instead of going to 1996 like he should. His crazy demeanor leads him to a loony bin, where he meets the crazy, bipolar Jeffrey Goines. While in the bin, the two talk about the extinction of man, before Cole disappears, returning during a battle of WWII and finally making it to 1996 like he should. In 1996, he learns that Jeffrey Goines is the leader of the Army of the Twelve Monkeys. As the son of a world famous virologist, he would have access to the virus. With the help of his former psychologist when he was institutionalized in 1990, Kathryn Railly (Madeleine Stowe), Cole sets out to prove Goines is responsible for the virus, so the scientists of the future can study it to find a cure and way for the people of the underground to once again live on the surface.

Pitt excels in his role as Goines. He has some of the funniest lines in the movie and provides much of the comic relief to this otherwise dramatic film. If you see Pitt in any movie, this is the one to watch.

Number Two – Kalifornia

In Kalifornia, Pitt once again plays someone who is crazy. This time, he’s a white trash, murderous freak known by the name of Early. He really has playing a crazy down pat. He can handle being the hero, but he really thrives in those roles where he steps out of the box of playing a conventional human being and takes on a role that actually takes some skill to play.

Early is a real interesting guy. He’s on parole, living in a trailer park, and no stranger to hard work. For example, near the beginning of the film he digs an awfully big hole for his landlord. Some people will do anything to avoid paying rent! One of the best things about this film is that you spend a good portion of this movie watching it and being completely shocked that the trashy lunatic on the screen is actually Brad Pitt! The greasy hair and this guttural, nasal snort he does when he sucks the snot back and forth in his throat, makes it hard to imagine that it’s actually Pitt in there, but it is.

Early is dating a less than intelligent, down home girl, who is actually kind of sweet, named Adele. After knocking off the landlord, something Adele doesn’t realize Early has done, the two meet up with a couple, Brian (David Duchovny) and Carrie (Michelle Forbes). They plan to travel across the country. Brian is a writer and Carrie is a photographer. They’ll be traveling along a route that takes them around the country to the homes of some of the most notorious serial killers. This is their project for Brian’s next book. Of course, they want to share the expenses with another couple, so they decide to look for one. Early finds out about this, contacts Brian, and in no time, the four of them are off to California. Of course, nobody realizes how crazy Early really is until it’s too late.

This is the scariest role Pitt has played merely because he’s virtually unrecognizable as Early. He personifies white trash murder and this movie serves to remind people never to go cross country with strangers. You never know who they’ll turn out to be in the end.

Number One – Fight Club

While Twelve Monkeys may be my favorite movie that Pitt has played in it’s hard to deny the genius behind Fight Club. This is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. The movie is shockingly amazing the first time you see it. Though you know what is going to happen, it’s still shockingly amazing the 600th time you see it. Fight Club is our top pick because it’s Brad’s best movie and the best movie on this list. His portrayal of Tyler Durden immortalized an already talented actor. Pitt couldn’t get any higher or better than he already has.

The story is told from the vantage point of The Narrator (Edward Norton). He’s a office employee who is unsatisfied with the monotony in his life. After meeting the intriguing soap salesman, Tyler Durden, on a plane ride home, the Narrator ends up moving in with him. The two live in a dump, but that’s okay. In the evening, they spend their nights roaming the streets and fighting one another. Before long, they’ve developed a secret society of male fighting clubs, Fight Club, to outlet their aggression. Soon, Fight Clubs are popping up all over the country and it soon becomes clear that Fight Club has a much bigger mission than originally intended.

Tyler Durden is confident, without fear, and the type of guy people aspire to be. The point of Tyler is his fearless nature. He adds an element to the movie that would be lost without him. While Brad Pitt really wasn’t the star of Fight Club, he made the movie his and was able to hold his own against the talented Edward Norton.

The last award for the evening was handed out to the team from No Country for Old Men. It was a big night for the once childhood filmmakers, the Coen brothers, as well as the rest of the team who worked on this film.

The actors were thanked, as well as Vantage, Miramax, and a number of other people. A touching thank you to Scott Rudin’s boyfriend wrapped things up nicely, and put an end to the 2008 Oscars.

This was no surprise at all. Daniel Day Lewis is a fabulous actor who really takes each role to heart. He thanked the Academy and stared at the Oscar in awe. It’s inspiring to see an actor with such talent be so humble about their gift. He thanked his wife, his son, and accepted the award for his father, grandfather, and his three sons.
