You know, I never would have thought it, had I not been nominated by a friend, for The Most Obnoxious Blogger in the Blogger Choice Awards. Since that nomination, I began to wonder…am I truly obnoxious or am I just plain honest? People really can’t handle the truth and all I’ve ever given is my true opinion on matters of celebrity stupidity.
I mean, sure, I’ve been threatened by mobs of angry Jonas Brothers fans online. I’ve been told not to write if I can’t write anything nice by disgruntled Chloe Lattanzi groupies. I’ve had people call me hacks for supposedly stealing comedian bits, when I was, in fact, the first to call the Jonas Brothers metrosexual. Still, I’ve done nothing but write what any other critic writes; their opinion.

Ashtyn is definitely the casual gamer in the family. A game fan since she owned an Atari, Ashtyn can remember when her brother rigged the television so he wouldn’t lose his Super Mario Bros. game. That is, until the power went out! A fan of all things Mario, Ashtyn is a Nintendo loyalist. She digs playing Mario-style RPG games, watching others play violent shooters (because she sucks at them), and playing casual PC games (like Wedding Dash and Cake Mania). As of now, she is into the Wii and Nintendo DS, though she’s certain the games for PS3 and Xbox 360 are more appealing.

I just had to do a parody of my favorite band, the Jonas Brothers’ hit song “S.O.S”. I hope you enjoy!
S.O.S. (Metrosexual Dressing) Lyrics
Told you I made shopping plans
With you so you can help me
learn how to dress the right way
Well I’m done
With awkward situation’s dressing
metrosexual
Oohh…This is an S.O.S.
I’ve got to learn to dress
My style is a mess
It’s true
I gave my clothes away
And now I’m dressing gay
And I can’t find the right way to
It’s like I’m dressing just like you
Better believe I’m worse
At looking like I’m not gay

The name of this list speaks for itself. Here we have 94 parents and 114 names that most people would not give their children. While some of the first names may seem traditional, when paired with their middle names they become quite strange. Then again, others are just completely out there.
1. 50 Cent - Bow-Ty
2. Adam Yauch - Tenzin Losel
3. Alice Cooper - Dashiell, Calico Dashiell
4. Andre 3000 - Seven Sirius

Ryan introduced the final eight ladies tonight and with a nod to the judges he would be about ready to start the show. It’s the top 16 this week, which means tonight is the top 8 women and the last week before things become co-ed. When he introduced the judges it appeared that everyone was ready to get things moving.
Randy was pimpin’ in a v-neck and a white t-shirt. He said the guys were hot so the girls better bring it. Paula looked like her usual, drunk self in a designer shirt, with a funky weave bun. Paula said she hopes the girls pick the right song. The hair of the 80s was cool. Simon looked like his normal self in a black t-shirt. He said no one is safe.
Like last night for the guys, tonight’s theme was 80s music. Each contestant had to tell about their most embarrassing moment.
Up first was Asia’h Epperson. Her embarrassing story involved her being an extra on a movie. Basically, she had to roller skate, and she hadn’t in a long time. So, she ran into the set light and fell on her butt. They had to break because she messed up the light.
What she sang: “I Wanna Dance with Somebody”
What she wore: A pink tank top (silk) and some purple pants - her hair looks cute and she had jewelry on
How she sounded: She isn’t Whitney. She has a nice voice, but the song is too big for her. Still, she wasn’t horrible. She can sing. It’s hard to compare to Whitney, especially when doing the song just like Whitney did. Overall, not as bad as the start to last night.

I must admit that I am one of the biggest fans of The Beatles. I love their songs. I love John and Paul’s amazing songwriting abilities. I love the story each song seems to tell. For me, The Beatles are and were the greatest band of all time. Without the Beatles, Rock n’ Roll, Pop, and other Contemporary genres of music would not be what they are today. The music industry owes a lot to The Beatles and it seems some have not forgotten that fact.
When I was watching the Grammys, I was unaware that The Beatles were up for any award, but when they announced that the “LOVE” soundtrack, which is composed entirely of the original Beatles compositions and recordings, was up for the Grammy for Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media, I was elated. Of course, the soundtrack for, Across the Universe, a movie by Julie Taymor that was inspired by The Beatles, also was up for the award, and call me bitter, but I’m still upset some bastards on a discussion forum had the gall to say the singers in this phenomenal movie (yes, I did like it) were better than The Beatles themselves. That’s just unforgivable, and had Across the Universe beat out “LOVE” in this category I’d have been quite peaky.
Needless to say, The Beatles won and as Ringo accepted the award, I had to choke back the lump in my throat. I am not the type to cry, but I’ll admit the idea of The Beatles winning an award, as such a big fan of them brought on a slew of emotions. I was joyous. I was saddened that George and John were not here to see that even today their songs were still impacting the world and people’s lives. I was mad that Mark David Chapman had cut short the life of the most prolific songwriter/composer of all time. I was relieved they won. I was so glad to see Ringo, who went up with George Martin to receive the award. I pitied he fact that Paul was not there. I was just a mix of emotions and many of them were good.

I just want to congratulate Sobe Life Water. Thanks to this completely moronic commercial that has absolutely nothing to do with water at all. I will not be buying their cracked out products. Who the fuck came up with this ad?
Of all the times to air said commercial…during the Grammy’s when a bunch of people will have to be subjected to this piece of crap commercial. I guess if anyone else is like me, they’ve pretty much lost a bunch of potential customers due to shoddy advertising. Way to go morons!
Whoever assumed that I would buy a product advertised by an ugly girl and a group of rodent-looking reptiles must have some good meth at their desk. I understand that Michael Jackson needed a comeback (he was the third reptile to the left), but isn’t this taking it a bit far?

Leonardo DiCaprio is not your typical A List celebrity. Rather than becoming a junkie (Lindsay) or becoming self-obsessed and flying private jets and being surrounded by body guards, Leo is just your average run of the mill kind of guy.
Recently in an interview he spoke about why he was never tempted into using drugs:
“My mother and I lived at Hollywood and Western [in Los Angeles] - a drug dealer and prostitute corner. It was pretty terrifying. I got beat up a lot. I saw people having sex in the alleys. I remember I was five years old and this guy with a trench coat, needles and crack cornered me. Seeing the devastation on my block, seeing heroin addicts, made me think twice about ever getting involved in drugs. It’s evil.”
He also talked about why he’s not star material:

Ellen is normally so upbeat and happy that this is one of those sides of her that will likely shock you. It is so sad, seeing her crying on stage. It really makes you feel for her and think ill of this agency that wants to take pets away from loving homes.
The short story is that Ellen is being lynched for not receiving permission to give away a dog she adopted. Ellen adopted a dog (a Brussels Griffon) and spent a lot of money on training the pooch, but in the end the dog did not get along with Ellen’s cats. To make sure the dog had a good home Ellen gave the pup to her hairstylist who has two pre-teen kids. The kids adore the dog. Now, the adoption agency has ripped the dog from the home because Ellen’s contract stated that she would not give the dog up and if she did she would take it back to the agency.
Makes sense right. Forget finding a loving home. Just bring him back to the cold cage in the agency.
